Nodes

The Fabric of the Decentralized Network

Nodes are lightweight software available on Windows, Mac, and Linux that function as the network’s media servers, hosting conference rooms. Node operators, often referred to as miners, earn rewards based on the data throughput and demand handled by their node.

Running a node serves two primary purposes:

  1. Hosting Conference Rooms: Nodes act as media servers for hosting conference rooms on the network.

  2. Earning Rewards: Node operators receive rewards based on the amount of data processed by their node.

Getting started with a node is straightforward:

  • Download the Application: Install the node software on your Windows, Mac, or Linux system.

  • Create an Account: Set up an account to manage your node operations.

  • Connect to the Network: Seamlessly join the network to start hosting conference rooms and earning rewards.
